NNAPF Logo

The Story of the National Native Addictions Partnership Foundation

Most of you are already familiar with NNAPF's logo. We are particularly proud of it because it distinguishes us as an Aboriginal organization. We believe the visual elements communicate our culture, values and strengths.

Sweet Grass Braid represents Aboriginal peoples and our connection to the Great Spirit.

Hands signify strength in working together; they also represent reaching out worldwide.

Circle represents continuity, life, and a worldview of connectedness and inclusiveness.

Divisions of the circle convey the four directions: North, South, East and West, and all its peoples, as well as our connection to Mother Earth and Grandfather Sky.

Tree represents the tree of life and new beginnings, interconnected to the circle and everything in it.

Seed represents new beginnings, growth and renewal.
